They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Everyone has their own personal problems and is fighting battles invisible to the human eye.

Why bother you may say?

Because that is what makes life exciting. There is something to win and lose in every story. Who has ever read a fairytale where the main character didn't have to rescue his princess because the dragon was already dead? That wouldn't be very exciting, would it? Same with life.

So live your story with victory in mind and go out and slay your dragons for the joy of it.
