With languishing strengths you swim
further away from the shoreline adrift and lost
the power of the sea noone are able to defeat
it's currents do not respond to any of your efforts

You try to force your way through all the locked doors
bang at them, you shout and you swear
alternately you scream, cry and you beg
closed are your eyes for the truth within you that you bear

But go ahead and bury yourself, in your selfpity
by roaring rapids to dance my wish is to go now
the poltergeist of a child, police at night, perhaps a troll
-behold, how poised they wag their silvery tails somehow

Later I shall buy myself a gigantic ice-cream
and lie here in the grass and enjoy my man
and wiggle my toes and sing a little song there
about joy, and all the happiness I found again
