The boat rock in stormy seas, they say
This is why I need somewhere to stay
Where the months, days and hours won’t just fade away.
Where time leave behind more than just the next day.
Where things stay the same in a relative way.
I need a sunrise that helps me look at the world through new eyes and a sunset that helps me forget.
Make me realise I have nothing to regret
and there’s new day that I haven’t seen yet.
And before the boat sinks I better dive,
because I will not give up, I shall survive.
And when I finally find the bay,
I will be the last to say, I’m okay.
