Murder

Can a bird become a spark?
A spark sparkling in the darkness?

There was a lovely bird,
That spoke the language of men.
Perhaps it was a man,
A man with winged words.

And they killed the bird,
Because he sang of the sun.

Don’t be surprised; there was a bird
That spoke the language of men.
Perhaps it was a man,
A man with winged words.

One night the bird became a spark,
A spark sparking in the darkness...
