straighten out my tomorrow (personal essay of american teen)

and the name of the song eludes me
but must have heard it at age seventeen
a bob marley & the wailers tune
of course i only became more confused about my future
or did i?
why do you stay on the dope if it makes you stupid?
you just don't keep up with the society developments?
in jamaica, 'tis where it is illegal country still has the lowest suicide rate in the world
and johnny b. goode and all the songs peter tosh covered
oh not many
cocaine choke brain peter tosh sings
then gets shot in a cocaine deal
peter tosh did a lot for the world
more than britney spears or n'sync
they made the world worse for that matter
everyone is complaining there is no good music nowadays
star fm plays 70's 80's 90's
my music collection ends around year two thosand

and let's see here straighten out my tomorrow
oasis which sounds a lot like the beatles and pink floyd
song wonderwall seems to have the same flavor

and at seventeen my motto turned to go on feeling
and goal in life be happy

let's evaluate dope smoking 30 years later, though been sober many years, on the two given goals
go on feeling: usually do, most decisions, but don't all ultimately, for everyone, get decided on feeling - a lot of apathetic stoic. uh negative
be happy: unhappy largely, but hey straighten out my tomorrow, with a lot of feelings
