I'm writing this too you with a heavy heart and a sadness
in which you have to understand that this is not easy for me, it's one of those things I wish I could spare you from, but I will not be able too, that's one of the reasons why it is so hard for me, another is my worry for you, your safety and your quick return to the states.

And it’s so far the hardest thing I ever done in my life.

I've met another man and I found myself in a situation
I never thought possible; I've waited for you for so long
and I still cherish our love, but my need to have someone close by and be able to give my love to, tears me apart when I never can give what my heart desires freely.

I'm so sad to tell you this but I have to,
we are getting engaged and will marry in the fall.

Please don’t hate me.
I do hope you can forgive me, someday.
