Some scars heal
They hurt a bit in the beginning
But after a while everything is fine
Like they were never there
You can touch them
Witout feeling any pain

But some scars remain forever
They hurt a lot in the beginning
Then the pain slowly fades
So slowly that you think you will break
But you don't because you know that
It will at least get better
And after a while you can touch them too
Without feeling any pain

But when you are by yourself
As soon as you try to rest
Your thoughts spin around
Because you want to understand
And then you come too close to the edge
And you fall
Fall back down

And your scar bleeds
Almost like the first time
Over and over again
Time can make the pain fade
But some scars never heal
They remain forever
