Closing my eyes,
I see residues of light

I fall asleep
and ”wake up”
biking in America,
passing a group of oldtimers
speaking Swedish
at some kind of ethnic
community center

I stop to chat

Dying comfortably
is to die beside yourself,
seeing you go

I administer memories;
administrate recollections

Some stomp their feet,
others smile for no reason;

just neurological expenditures

Thinking
is the force of time
and matter,
spider webs and galaxies

I DAWN ON ME

I flap my thoughts,
fold my dreams,
hold on to a dark sphere,
leaning into the light,
dressed in gravity
and circumstance;

a few spare hours
in my backpack
