The rain falls gently on the snow
Creating spots of black and white
A dalmatian dog appears in sight
A playful friend I'd like to know

He wags his tail and barks hello
He doesn't mind the cold or wet
He runs and jumps with no regret
A happy pup who loves the snow

I watch him from my window pane
And wish that I could join his fun
But I have work that must be done
So I just smile and watch the rain
