LIFE HURTS

gifted or talented
it doesn\' t really matter
things are just gloom and doom
when all your dreams are shattered
balance has lost its grip
in favour of the outbursts
pain in your finger tips
is part of it when life hurts

pleasure is still unknown
concealed for men of fortune
there is a new mirage
behind most of the sand dunes
walking in nowhere land
with all the plans unwritten
i see resentment in
the eyes of every kitten
