The Cab part 4
and why am I getting so tired
the street is black now
yellow stripes
I count them for a block
step on a cigarette
the name was KOOL
they come in three pair
from the crossing Fulton Cliff to here its
27 of them
The Fulton market is
where i first saw you
everything reminds me
Carlisle..
do you ever stop
right in the street
in the middle of the night
and forget about
seconds and minutes
Red
when no cars are coming
all these things
they still remind me of you
The theatre sign misses the letter P
so its says earls cinema
that doesn’t sound to classy
I wonder if the
world will
come to its end
in the dusk or in the dawn
i got it from a movie
i recon in the middle of the night
sometimes just cause then its all black
like everywhere at the same time
I am chewing a gum
its on the ground now
pink
where is that color from
a bug
i don’t know
i believe in people who are hones to them selves
follow their impulses
know the truth about certain things
like anything is possible
no more fighting
i am tired of this violence
i am tired of this hatred
why are there homeless children at all
why are we paying tribute to a building constructed
to bring us closer to god
is there any reason at all listening to a priest
is everything just a game
judgmental games
judgmental people
go make my day
and sake your soul
until your full of holes
I see-through you
LIFE
LOVE
LOVE
LIFE
i scream
I will probably get arrested
and there she goes again
yellow as the stripes
on the black road
red
yellow
green
yellow green
blue
I want you
