It's frequently used,
and necessary at times,
but how often are they real?
I hear people say it everyday,
and it's everywhere I look.
I used to understand it,
sympathize and breathe it.
But then it all changed.
Now I can't stand to hear it.
It's like a foreign language.
The words seem empty to me
and lack all meaning.
