These people are just some stupid pedophiles that take advantage of young and vulnerable girls. The Islamic regime of Iran, Hamas, Al Qaida and those Muslems how think in such a way are just some pity guys with a criminal mind. It is just horrible to see those little girls in such a scene.

Well, I condemn children getting married as well and I know it occurs along the muslim countries. Still, I am convinced that your picture above has been used as false propaganda against palestinians in Gaza and Hamas. If you can come up with fact proving that this story is 100% true and genuine, then I’ll change my mind. As I said I am no fan of Hamas. Accusing all of Hamas for being pedophiles is quite grave. This kind of (in my view) false propaganda does not prevent the problem. Hamas has denied the accusation and if you read my links, the youngest girls getting married were teenagers around 16 (which I think is more common than “little girls” getting married forcibly). Your link spreads prejudice and islamophobia in a way that will not prevent children being forced to marry. It tries to create a picture that muslims generally are pedophiles and dirty people. Well, there are all kinds of muslims (and people in general) and the link spreads predjudice against secular muslims as well. I wouldn’t have anything against visiting Gaza someday and I think it would be a shocking experience…

Your way of generalizing make me very surprised. I am not talking about all Palestinians in Gaza or all who are supporting Hamas for different reasons. They may do not know better. I am not talking either about all Muslims here as you try falsely to make the case.

As a matter in fact it is not that important that the video footage is true or not. Hamas is a terrorist organization as it is Al Qaida and the Islamic regime of Iran. I am condemning their criminal activities. And approving young innocent girls to get married with older men is a criminal act that is supported by those groups. I am also condemning all those Muslims (not all Muslims) and even others regardless if they are Muslims, Christians or Jews who accept and approve that, young girls as age as 9 and 10 years old get married. According to my view they have a criminal mind. Such people – men and women- are living even in Europe and in America who take advantage of young girls and boys. They are pedophiles regardless if they are living in Gaza or in Stockholm. Their approaches to take advantage of children are just different.

And I do think that paying attention and strongly condemning such activities will be helpful in a long run to get rid of such a tradition.

No, no, no. How can anyone believe this? You need some critisism of sources here… Hamas has often sponsored mass weddings, that is true. Many families can’t afford a wedding party by themselves. The young girls are family members of the brides or grooms, they are some sort of bridesmaids. In muslim tradition brides and grooms often don’t hold hands in public like this, sometimes they even have separate parties and brides are usually not dressed in such a westernized manner. This videoclip has been distributed by israelis and iranians and if you google “hamas mass wedding” you will find israeli sources denying it as well. Check this:

I am no fan of Hamas, though. I do have some experience from muslim wedding traditions and this experience made me sceptical the moment I saw this clip on a friends facebook page. I googled and found some support for my view. I just wanted to share it with you as well.

There is a strong tradition in Islamic countries to force young girls as age as 9/10 years old to get married with older boys or men. The Prophet Muhammad´s youngest wife was just 9 years old.

Nawal El Saadawi tells her own story in an interview with the Swedish radio about how her parents tried to force her to get married when she was just 10 years old.

This tradition is very strong in Muslim societies. Take a trip to Gaza if you want and you will meet thousands of those little girls who are married to older men.

You can call it tradition but I strongly condemn this tradition which is a criminal act and nothing else.

domstolen, advokater, rättvise män ställer ju sig på pedofilernas sida, skyddar dem, omfamnar dem...
