Dreams

Dreams are important because we humans need something to guide us trough life, Choosing a road. What we want to achieve in life, needs a purpose, because we do.We need a purpose to get up in the morning and go to our jobs, drop of our children at school or kindergarden, come home and make dinner, go to bed again and wake up the next day and repeat what you did yesterday. Because it get’s us closer to it. If no one wanted anything to fullfill their lives, what kind of world would we live in today? Would our way of life even exist? All the great things that humans have done in our time here on earth, would it actually happen if no one wanted something special out of their lives? Our ancestors who created civilization it self, would they if they didn’t want to do something about their current situation?
Dreams constantly reminds us that we can be a better version of ourselves. And it is because of that, the world have become a better place. Ofcourse there are exeptions, not everywhere on earth there is peace and quiet, and we have done horrible things to our fellow man, but we drift towards a brighter future everyday, but in places where people still live horrible lives, it’s slowly getting better. And the example remains. Without wanting something, nothing will be achieved.
To achieve certain dreams, we need to focus, don’t give up and be conclusive. It’s like war, you need to pick up that rifle and charge that hill, because in the end it all depends on what YOU do. Life is cruel, no one really cares when it comes down to it. You have to change, to chase, and achieve. You will miss a shot you never fire.
There are many different kinds of dreams. In poor places people can dream about what you take for granted in everyday, water, electricity,food,shelter, even a home. They dream of peace on earth, and if everyone actually cared, that would be reality and not a dream.
Dreams take form with one simple thing, an idea in someones path of thinking. Something we want, good or bad. It’s something that will get us on the road that leads to it. If you dream of peace on earth. You probably can’t quite reach it yourself. It still all comes down to you in the end though. People who dream, are realists. They are aware that they need to do something in order for things to change.
