Game of Colours

When I think I’m strong I can’t fly away
I paint my sky as blue, but it turns into black and gray
Nothingness has more than anything when I feel free
But everything seems to be more than nothing when I stop to see.

I paint in red your lips and it turns into white
The sun is yellow but it doesn’t shine, doesn’t it light?
Our love is dying through the darkness of what you deny
I want it to survive but it does want me to let it die

This game of colours again, this game fades my soul
I want to get back what time stole
This game of expressions painted with Gogh’s hand
Painful expectations you could never understand

This masterpiece of love has been deleted through each hour
It used to smile endlessly and give me so much power
I wrote letters of emotions dying hanging on one flower
For this love, we need two, to support it as a tower.
