I have a full time job
of being on the fringe
nine to fivers stop and cringe
this land my land
this hotbed of tolerance
between the sidewalk
and the urban sky
the walking wounded
pass just by
harlots, my rustic saviours,
reign the rural scene
I guess it goes with the plumbling
urchins beg to be redeemed
where is all this in
God's pristine scheme
