that's my initial contribution

we spray painted band names

on the house walls

but we were teenagers

back in those days

the mayhem was just a

passing hybris

it made us forget about

the rat race

i'll broadcast my message

on the radio

and maybe they'll print it

on the billboards

then maybe i'll end up

in a talk show

with all of my wisdom

and my three chords
