Unknown truth
The memories I try to find are those who betrayed me.
For so long have they hid in silence while my confusion became a reality.
The uncertainty of when I am awake, are either dreams of a reality or glimpse of my days to come.
Tectonic shifting in my chest and the quakes deep in my core burst into ashes and dust.
The raindrops I see on the floor reminds me of the darkened clouds above under the rays of dawn.
In the eye of the storm I am surrounded by walls of unknown forces.
I see the calm seabed bottomless and barren.
The sea calls for my attention towards a unrecognizable reflection.
Lost in a maze of unspoken words and recognitions.
The tsunami of guilt drowns me in ignorance.
Slowly the twisted mind uncoils and reveals its true identity.
It is I inside a version of me missing a moral compass.
A lighthouse in the anxious waters dimming the sun.
The lonely sails caressed by the veils of time.
I release the helm to leave my fate into the waves.
