I love clouds, seas and oceans

I'd grown up in a house which the sea is under it when high tide

But very seldom I allowed to swim in the sea

I watched my neighbouring kids enjoying playing in the seawater

I learned to swim when I was a teenager

Me a lithe daughter of Ocean

-my name is Mellow…

Once a year or in two years I visited my mom's place

on another island

That place has nice and wide rice fields

Nice fragrance of air and singing of birds

The cozy ambiance

The fresh water and the clouds looking down, giving enough shades to farmers

I dreamed to live in the middle of it

But the visit stopped when I was in High school

We have more priorities than spending for fare…

The saddest moments when I was a kid was waving goodbye to my mom

every time she left for work

She was a housemaid and a caregiver on another island

We were together once in every two years

More loneliness when after my sister finished her secondary level

she had to follow mom to another island…

Still I do not know

I do not remember

What was what

while watching the Ocean

Glare azure of water

Or my tears

Or both…?

Ps.  All these moments

       Led me, in time, to Daybreak

       Sometimes I felt lost in sorrow

       But love guided me toward the day…
