And instincts is bare basic survival...

and human nature is coming from nature...
We are designed to survive here, and everything we express is an extension of that. Anger, is just as important from survival standpoint as forgiveness for example.
I would say the biggest difference between animals and humans, is that animals (for what we know) doesn't judge themselves. Doesn't judge their own actions...
They don't guilt themselves for what they did to survive or thrive.
And maybe neither should we?
