Birds, like any living beings, require two vital things to survive: food and water. Consequently, they naturally gravitate towards sources of sustenance. Humans, in their quest for meaning beyond themselves, perceive and attribute with a higher purpose. It's not as complicated as it seems when we employ our critical faculties to understand the underlying dynamics. So much mumbo jumbo.
