FUNDAMENTALISTS TORTURING THEIR CHILDREN

In the US we have constant news reports of Fundamentalist parents torturing their children and caging them. There was a story in the news yesterday of a woman who tortured her young son. She had a channel giving advice to people on how to raise children!!!! The police said it was a case of religious extremism.

In other stories, Fundamentalists shake their babies and even adults to death, trying to "drive the demon out" of them. Religion can really mess up a person's mind.

for those not in the know, the first country in the world which outlawed rape in marriage was sweden, was somewhere in the 1960s i think. we also outlawed (or at least frowned upon it) spanking kids or whatever, domestic abuse. my dad never hit me, he yelled a lot from time to time, but he never hit me, not my mom or sisters either. but i think it happens quite a lot - rape too, in the family - no matter if youre religious or not. its usually passed down in generations abuse in family or just general hostily, and its up to us, as new parents, to stop it. i dont yell at my children.
