this day came to existence for a purpose
but i don´t like the shape of it
why it came into existence God only knows
i feel it´s going down the pits
this day´s gonna fade away
like all these days do
i´ve already had enough of it
had enough of people
and enough of myself too
i do not like this day a bit
it´s easter, some folks are rejoicing
but i´m not really one of them
the discontent that i´m voicing
comes all the way from way back when
there was a time when life was easy
those days are gone
just like my cash
my sight is blurred
my window´s greasy
and i live in a constant clash
this day has come into existence
there´s really nothing i can do
perhaps some heavy music listening
and a stroll down the avenue
