a loner and his typewriter
that´s the way it ought to be
delivering the messages
like a hermit wild and free
without consideration
hesitation won´t stand a chance
maybe i´m exaggerating
my own significance

i am trying to stretch my freedom
though some people disapprove
but i do not have to see them
since they´re not into the groove
if the antiseptic army
wants me to be limited
i guess they must be quite barmy
beat some sense into their heads

make a monumental impact
or remain a wannabe
the inevitable price you pay
for notoriety
for exposing your pompous ego
on a stage in a cheerful place
it´s the things your dreams are made of
grant me grace to reclaim my space
