Covering in the dark
bright eyes open up
with an eternal spark
afraid of burning out

The forest who protect will cease
The rays of light has all burnt out
in a haven meant to bring peace
blank eyes give out a silent shout

in a distance a fog starts to move
a veil of comfort in a time of fears
scared yet brave enought to prove
none can be saved with fallen tears

bright eyes cover in the dark
dwelling in the depths of old
afraid of losing that last spark
join together to lose the cold

Residing in the depths they search
for a hope that can be saved again

a fog drifts over creeks and lakes
not meant to save but put to test
pushed out on the journey it makes
alone it must protect the res

to protect and find the lost
becoming more than it ever thought
grow stronger no matter the cost
else all that was will turn to naught

A fog with an inner warmth is here
a spirit of kindness it brings
