Kenyan beans

Didn't have to enter
Izzy sat and spoke
music in the front
of the store
sun shed
rays right on it

On a just about
hot May
early afternoon
the sunshine shone
stories flew by
brilliantly
and clear

The Moving Company
ran a hundried times
passed us with trollies
and carried 20 tables
or more
"What a flat it must be"
we thought

Well, there's music in the air
needless to have a band nor a
a soul playin'
when Izzy paints his present
and histories on the horizon
between a hot street
and an arduous sun

You can feel the original groove
been around and mended
into the present sounds
