i' m a perfectly peaceful patriot

at ease on this sunny day

most of april is gone already and

it's about to give way for may

we relax in the market square downtown

there are buskers about today

there are fiddlers and one guy who plays guitar

as the world is approaching may

wish we all could be one big family

great each other with sunshine smiles

quite regardless of ethnic origins

and regardless of different styles

i'm a perfectly peaceful patriot

Jesus Christ is my God and Lord

and a future without Him in my heart

is a future i can' t afford
