Desert rose

Before time, nothing existed but me.
But I wanted more.
So I started time and decided to plant a garden.
I made big trees. I created flowers.
I used all my imagination and creativity to make every little detail, in my garden, beautiful.
More. Beyond beauty.
It took me six years to plant this garden. The seventh year I spent admiring my creation.
Every colour was so intense, and every breath filled me with life.
There was a rose in this garden I loved very much. I filled it with my Spirit and it became even more beautiful.
I could spend days just looking at the rose. I couldn´t get enough of its beauty.
Then....something happened.
I first saw it when the colours wasn´t as bright as usual. One by one they faded.
The leaves started to fall off the trees. And one day they stood all naked.
The flowers withered, the grass lost its strength, and sand took over...

When I look at my beautiful garden today I see a desert.
Everything is devastated. This dry, barren land is all that´s left.
Except for one thing.
The rose.
Through all the years and storms this rose has stood there.
In the middle of this desert there´s one single rose.
Do you know how much more beautiful this makes you?
I love you more than you can imagine, my precious flower!
I´m so happy I gave you my Spirit.
Time nears the end..... I´ve decided to stop time.
I will take you home one day.
You belong to me, not in this dry, used up land.
You are the only thing that´s still beautiful here.
I just hope you can preserve your beauty until I come for you.
My precious.
Desert rose.

/Your creator

"Jag är ett ringa blomster i Saron, en lilja i dalen.
Ja, såsom en lilja bland törnen, så är min älskade bland jungfrur".H.V. 2:1,2 (Bruden talar till Brudgummen)
"Du är skön alltigenom, min älskade, på dig finnes ingen fläck". H.V.4:7 (Brudgummen talar till Bruden.)
Ett underbart tema.
Bokmärke.
