We have forgotten
that we dressed ourself up
in human costumes.

We are not these human brands.

Yet at the same time,
we are in fact
this human costume
cloaking ourself,
and we never forgot,
because we knew all along.

I never forget.
The costume does.

The thought of me
could never succeed
in remembering
or knowing,
because a thought
is just an activity
of the whole,
and not the whole itself.

The human costume
is a thought
that forgot
his eternal knowing.
