I remember the leaves so green and bright
i remember summerwinds so warm and light
the shining sun that with all its rays
gave a glow of life in so many ways

I woke up in the morning feeling so fine
listening to the singing birds, so divine
life was so beautiful with flowers everywhere
it felt just like the summer was eternal here

Now the leaves are brown and fall to the ground
whirl around in the sky with a rustling sound
and even though i know this is the natures call
the autumn always make me sad and i feel so small

All trees in the citypark so lifeless and bare
surrounded by winds but they dont seem to care
the summer with green leaves, bathe and romance
is now a memory, like a long forgotten dance
