OM MIG

I am a poet and writer from Albania.
Ed Martin is a pseudonym. Currently living in Sweden. I hope to learn the Swedish language.

The environment where I was grew up has typical characteristics of Albanian Alps, a magnificent
landscape dominated by the highest peak of Shkelzen mountain. Old and new stories, books, legends, but also the environment where I grew up strongly affected on my formation as a poet
and a writer. My first poetries were written in the `80, but the decisive turn in my creativity comes
in 1985 after the deportation. Until then my world had only beautiful things but in 21 january 1985
everything reverses, I was "enemy of the nation and traitor of my homeland". This left serious
trace in my memory, my conscience and my creativity as a poet and writer.
