Guy Fawkes
One evening last year down in Bristol
I was biking the streets with my pistol
It was the fifth day of November
Guy Fawkes was the guy to remember
jey hoo didido
I was up for the show
I was ready to go
serve a serious blow
Zoë told me the night was on fire
I looked for a good rubber tyre
to mount on my old mountain bike
and head into town for a hike
jey hoo didido
I was up for the show
I was ready to go
serve a serious blow
Bristol City did certainly explode
I brought dynamite, a full bike pack load
that I had going off in a park
with the aid of the tiniest spark
jey hoo didido
I was up for the show
I was ready to go
serve a serious blow
The Christian fools hollered ”Hark!”
as I came at them out of the dark
Soon they all lay wasted on the grass
while I waited for the moment to pass
jey hoo didido
I was up for the show
I was ready to go
serve a serious blow
This was my Guy Fawkes celebration
said I at the local cop station
The cops did not mind the tradition
but allowed me no police audition
jey hoo didido
I was up for the show
I was ready to go
serve a serious blow
