not an angel though
or a demon
not really a human either
more like the decorations
in an anonymous
observer’s home
I look through the flowers
in the wall-paper
to joke away
anything a lawyer
could hold against anyone
the fish in the fishtank in the living room
communicate with me through
the rhythm of the bubbles
hissing through their gills
