The UAE National Day (Arabic:  Al Yawm Al Watani") is celebrated yearly on 2 December to commemorate the formation of the United Arab Emirates.
The seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, was added to the federation on 10 February 1972 making it the last emirate to join.

Emirates, oh Emirates, your royal family stands tall,

From the Hajar mountains to the Arabian Sea,
Your spirit, oh Emirates, is forever free.
Seven stars shining bright in the desert night,
Symbolizing your unity, radiating light.

On this National Day, we honor your past,
A tribute to your culture, that will forever last.
