An open mind provides a door
to new ideas; the very core
of dreams and creativity
of danger and naivety

While words of wisdom set you free
they're naught but haunting thoughts for me
of life don't tell me "how" or "why"
lest dreams of mine grow wings and fly

No, mindlessness will keep me going
through another harmless day
it's my choice, I choose not knowing
