Our bad weather

I am going to have to have you surgically removed,
your pain in my chest won't go away
Take it, you!,
for it is not really mine
Your every word bleeds through my membranes
Evacuate the room,
I'm sorry but
you cannot stay

So when the blade hits the nerves,
oh but a welcomed pain!
It lifts your weight:
no longer in my veins

And so when you are gone,
you are not
For the void is now space
for thoughts to grow
Soaked in acid pools,
I let them marinate

Once upon the bluest moon,
the decision of the mind moves the flesh,
into erratic distraction
And in me,
the utter disgust of this duality

At a distance,
remnants of the sore,
reminding me to stay away
I chose to not want anymore,
I can only watch you and obey

Pull the thorns out,
lick the wound
You may just be but you are not
here
Each scar a promise,
each scar a tear

After settled storm,
I find my words being echoed in our debris
A sky clad in black birds and doves
What to make,
of you and me
