Earth, when I see you, when I feel you, from the micro to the macro, the beauty in nature animals, genuine humanity, I sometimes think to myself how can anyone deny the existence of a higher power?

I'm grateful for my life I'm living. If you think to yourself the life you sometimes hate, the life that sometimes can be inadequate, the life you sometimes can’t stand and that sometimes can feel so unfulfilled is the exact same life someone else just dreams and wishing with all of their heart and soul that they had. Earth is not cruel, we are

Earth never demands us to pay rent for living here. Neither does it ask for money for letting the sun warm us every day, for the light it gives us during the days, or for the stars and moon at night. It doesn’t ask for anything in return for us using its resources, for the water we drink, the water we shower in and clean ourselves with. It doesn’t ask us for tax and interest when we are using its recourses, or for travelling from one place to another, earth never made any boarders, we did. Never gave certain people the right to use and profit from its fossil fuels. Earth will not captivate or murder anyone for having an opinion, it doesn’t bully us even if we don’t have respect for its ecological system that we slowly are ruining.

Is it earth that stops the humans to develop or are we preventing that ourselves? Is Earth to blame for humans selfishness or is it actually the most humble and generous host we could ever imagine? Does it discriminate anyone for looking different? The baker, teacher, lawyer, farmer, fisherman, doctor and the philosopher; who and whatever you are we have all one thing in common, we are depended on Earth, and we should share with our resources and skills to find solutions to improve the life situation instead of using resources to the extent that others become dependent on us.
The least we can do in exchange for all that is given us is to preserve it to cherish and take care of it. We are all earthlings like it or not, regardless where you were born or what religion you have. We are connected to each other through something much bigger even if we don’t remind ourselves about it or even can relate to that fact. Earth doesn’t lie to us, our home is so beautiful so why are we destroying it as if it will last forever?


People too often compare their life’s with the minority above them, but really they should compare it with the majority beneath them. Start appreciating what you have and be grateful. But mostly be truthful to yourself. If you can't speak the truth or know what the truth is, rather not speak at all, you can't be selective when it comes to it, a lie will always just give birth to another lie.... so don’t sell your soul for your flag, for a tradition, money, power, culture etc. Offer your soul freely to the truth so that it can seek and find your heart, your ears and your eyes. We are our own biggest enemy, but also our own best friend.


Even if you don’t want to believe in a higher power in form of God, at least believe in our own beautiful planet. Whatever you do, don’t lose faith and never stop believing that one day there can be a more harmonious future for all earthlings.
