What is the point of this if it will all perish in the end anyway?

Well I say, it is like a great symphony, it builds up and up, becoming more and more complex until it peaks in beauty, expression and form, and then it dissolves once again to silence and emptiness. It's exactly like this. The peak and beauty of the symphony can only exist and have meaning because of this divine contrast.
