Sometimes,
I just feel
like giving up
But the feeling
never blooms:
I know there's
something in me
that is trying to
push out,
something trying
to expand

Like birth, it hurts
to grow, to be willing
to be open for God's
move

I know the complexity
and simplicity of life,
and I've been through
the motions

So I look forward,
straighten myself
and walk on...
