He had to

A man in a hurry was urgently looking to consult with an imam.
He traveled from town to town in search for an imam.
He was instructed to visit the Blue Tower town,
and so he went.
He got there and found the towns imam, and he said, "Imam I have killed 99 people, is there any chance that I can get to Paradise in the afterlife?
I am regretful and sorry for my deeds."
The imam after listening to the man said, "you are obviously diluting if you think someone like you can get into Paradise, no there's no way so go away!"
The man after the imams chocking statement said, you know imam I M exhausted of telling
I killed 99 people, It sounds better to me to say I killed a 100 people.
Yes, the man killed the Imam and went on his way still looking to consult.
After a long day he arrived at the Red Tower town where he found an imam.
The man told his story and to his surprise the imam said, "The door of repentance is open for all until death visited." The Imam then advised the man to leave the place of crime and to start afresh.
The man took the advice and was moving to a new place, but before he got there the angle of death got in the way and his soul was fought about.
It was the Angels of Hell that saw him first, but the Angels of Paradise said he repented and therefore they should take him, "no!" replied the Guards of Hell, he was theirs to take.
This went on until another Angel arrived at the scene and said, "Look, if the man was near the place o crime, the guards of hell have the rights and if he is near the other place the Angels of Paradise have the rights for his soul.
And it turned out after precise measurement the man was inches closer to the new place, away from the place of crime. And his soul went to rest in a good place.
