Russia officially reacts to Transnistria's request to receive "protection": "It is one of our priorities"

There are growing tensions at the border of the Republic of Moldova. The separatist region of Transnistria has asked for Russia's protection against a so-called economic war, launched by the government in Chisinau. Without saying a word about a possible accession to the Russian Federation, as was originally rumored, the separatist deputies gathered in an extraordinary congress accuse, in fact, the Republic of Moldova of economic pressures. This is after the Chisinau government imposed the payment of customs duties from January 1.
