Someone once told me to look around and just take everything in. And to see if you can relate to the people around you, since you’re never alone. If you would walk around in my “world” you would probably see someone just like you, or close to you. Like my friend Oskar, his girlfriend just broke up with him and he’s blaming himself. Or maybe you’re more like my friend Isabelle who is suffering drug problems. Or maybe you’re just like me… a girl who tries to smile but whose tears are trying to find their way out. If you can relate to one of us, then your world is a lot like mine… if not, maybe you’re close.

My name is Malin and I’m a writer. I have been dealing with a lot the past years, but most of them have been dealt with in silence. I have always been “the good girl” but lately I felt tired of people’s conclusions and what’s expected of myself in the eyes of others. Sooner or later we all have to find our selves and we have to see what’s expected of us in the eyes of ourselves. Look at my dear friend Johanna for example; she thought her world was all about a guy who didn’t treat her right. She found herself in the eyes of him and not herself. Or look at me… I found myself, but the people around me didn’t. The once who thought they knew me; well truthfully they didn’t, or let me correct myself. They don’t!
