the power of
the sun

today
I experienced
the energy of
thunder and lightning

as the sun kissed
my face
the marvel of Mother Earth
tickled
my curiosity

and as the dark clouds
sailed in from the north
the sun
refused to fade

I was stunned
at the wonder
and the immensity
of Mother Earth
