and I was, that's true

you called me liar
also that true

You kept me around
cause it made you feel charitable
I can live with that
as long as I'm kept around

You fed me crumbs of yourself
never said a word about your personal life
never asked and I never told you anything about me

you didn't give a damn

I needed that to be true

And mutually we ignored each other
I loved and you hated
a perfect balance was constructed

Anything we had in common
anything at all
it never showed it's face

Nothing we did together was
something we really did together

And you never liked me
you made that crystal clear

I think I still love you though
even now, after all these years
