Feeling so messed up,
not wanted, not loved,
having the blues, feeling so low,
will this never end?

Everything is black,
so dark I can’t even see my own thoughts,
I can’t even see my heart glow any more
Everybody says cheer up,
life’s supposed to be bright,
but how can I see the sun
when it is hiding behind all those rain clouds?

I know there is more to life than I can see now
but I still have my doubts
Yet I know my life’s brighter than mosts
but all I can see right now is darkness

I’m not perfect,
you can’t expect me to see what I have
that others don’t
when I see what others have that I don’t
I’m not perfect, only human
I’m not perfect, I’m only me
and can never be less or more
