I said I have a history
You said my dress was beautiful
I told the world my story
And then I danced

I wrote poetry and sang
I made them smile
They made me feel alive
I was the pretty girl dancing
Dancing in the universe
With a dress made of poems
And a story to tell the world
I threw away my fears
I let my past go
I started writing
Letters

On a blank sheet
I danced
but only in my mind
I smiled

With my eyes too
