I went to a rather classy dinner last nite
and everything were magnificent and grand
We had our drinks and on roasted lamb we dined
and on the table were place cards near at hand

It is a strange thing after all with these parties
where you are laughing and crying out loud
It is a strange thing after all with these parties
from which you rather run away safe and sound

Pampigt och Stort

Var på en finare middag igår
och allt var pampigt och stort
Vi drack dricka och åt stekt får
och på bordet låg anvisningskort

Det är underligt med dessa fester
där man skrattar i högan sky
Det är underligt med dessa fester
från vilka man helst ville fly
