It´s been awhile
Where I look up to the moon
knowing only tears and sorrow comes
from my sad ocean face

Time has finally come
You were my Moon boy
the moon I gracefully looked upon
feeling one last time
your warm embrace

the colorful books we once wrote
have finally gone to rest
time has come
where I finally let you go
I can finally enter a new chapter

And
without you
Its been a decade
where my soul felt so lost
but now I know
how to move on
and I never thought I could

It´s taken some time
my wings have finally grown back
I can finally look up to the moon again
and see but only see
the moon I once knew
before you

And
I thank you for giving me
a gift I had forgotten
my very own moon grace
a smile now rest in my soul

So thank you my Moon boy
you can now peacefully rest
knowing that I will continue write
new colorful stories
about the moon
