Poem in English - one of the underdogs, the outsiders....
Pearly raindrops and beer
A subtle smile
He puts on the dress
When no one sees
He paints his world
In the deepest red
The brightest blue
The sunniest yellow
Pretending it is the sun
Shining down on his head
While he lies in the park
In a pretty dress
...
Walking around in the streets
In high heels and never being
Looked at for anything else
Then the admiring eyes
Of the people passing
The laughter from yesterdays party
There were all kinds of people
It was an underground party
Yet they felt like being in heaven
Getting slightly drunk
Dancing
The outsiders
The underdogs who did not care anymore
What for?
What was the point again?
To drunk to remember now
So keep the party going
Tea and grapes and pretty dresses
Bloody red lipstick
And blushing cheeks
For some a short affair
For others - they chose to stay
Pearly raindrops and bubblegum
The bubble burst once out in the street again
In this world a man is a man with a capital M -
Said the other man - finishing up his beer
- A man is a man with a beard!
A man is a man
Is a man
A man....
This man wears a dress
And high heels and bloody red lipstick - every now and then
This man is
...
- A man
In a dress
In a park
In the street
At the party
On the buss
On the sofa
Legs crossed
Smiling
despite the fact
That some ignorant idiot
told him that he
was less of a man
wearing a dress
...
No one is going to tell you
Who you are
But you
....
Being courageous
Is being true
- To who you are
