The rain it pierces through my blue skin, chills creep down my neck. The winds clear out my nesting of tangled deceptions.
Clear as a crystal the image of your eyes,
reflecting, hinting from the drops that I despise.
But it gives me warmth this blistering night,
as the stars fall down and burn into my eyes.
Your eyes; They always repel away mine.
The birds are taking shelter in the storm, but I see the raven feeding off of the dead. I can feel it's shadow always over me. It knows, like me, that I'm about to fall.
Now the rain has soaked me wet
The last warmth it leaves my chest
As I lie down for endless rest
I see the stars
And it gives me warmth
Your breath whisper on my neck
and I can feel our eyes connect
It should always be like this, always be like this
